Teresa, an employee of the Jules Stein Eye Institute Development Office, has served as a member of the JSEI Affiliates Advisory Committee since March 1999. She received her B.A. degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara in Business Economics, and before joining the Institute's Development team, worked as a Marketing Director for SunAmerica Inc. in Century City, California for over 10 years.

Teresa's financial services, client relationship and marketing experience are utilized by the Development Office to expand the Institute's development programs. Her experience in corporate event planning is also relied upon in planning special Institute and Affiliates events including the annual Teddy Bear Picnic. Teresa is a current member of the National Society of Fund Raising Executives.

In addition to her involvement with the JSEI Affiliates, Teresa volunteers her time serving on several committees at her children's school and her church and also serves as a board member for the Sisters of St. Louis League Charitable Organization. Teresa and her husband John live in Pacific Palisades with their three children, Lauren, Jack and Matthew.
