Audrey's interests are currently focused on volunteer work at the
Jules Stein Eye Institute, gardening (including Ikebana
flower arranging), monthly meetings of her book club and
the extensive book reading preparatory to that activity,
and taking classes in spinning and cardio respiratory
boxing at her local health club. |

Audrey Bok is a native Californian. She attended Calvin College in
Grand Rapids, Michigan and subsequently worked at the Rand
Corporation in Santa Monica, California before the birth of
her three sons. At the Rand Corporation, she worked in the
Economic Department as an assistant to Drs. Daniel Ellsberg,
James Schlesinger and Nancy Nimitz. The latter was the daughter
of Admiral Chester Nimitz, former commander of the United
States Pacific Fleet during World War II. Audrey is married
to Dean Bok, Professor of Neurobiology and Dolly Green Professor
of Ophthalmology at the UCLA School of Medicine.

that her children are grown, she enjoys traveling with her
husband Dean when he attends meetings at interesting places
